SEM Test Abfluss verstopft – die besten Hausmittel und Tipps:

Verdächtige Geräusche machen sich im Abfluss breit? Das Wasser läuft nur noch ganz ganz langsam ab? Dann heißt die Diagnose: Abfluss verstopft. Doch was tun? Schnell und einfach können Sie einen Abfluss mit einer Saugglocke – dem sogenannten Pümpel – den Abfluss reinigen. Einfach einen Liter Wasser in die Spüle geben, den Überlauf abkleben, den Saugglocke ansetzen und so lange kräftig pumpen, bis der Abfluss frei ist.

Sollte die verstopfte Stelle zu tief im Abfluss sitzen, kann man es auch mit einer Spindel aus dem Baumarkt probieren oder man greift auf die allzeit bereiten Rohrreiniger zurück. Diese sind zwar nicht unbedingt ökologisch wertvoll, aber manchmal muss einfach die chemische Keule ran. Nicht vergessen: Immer lange genug einwirken lassen.

Wenn auch das nicht hilft, sollte man auf eine Abflussreinigung vom Fachmann zurückgreifen. Der weiß was zu tun ist und wird das Rohr im Zweifel mal ordentlich durchpusten.

Personal news / Barcamp Hamburg 08

It's pretty tough getting a new post online these days. I've been moving from Hamburg to Cologne (Köln), moving some stuff back to a rented room in Hamburg and haven't had time to set up the new appartment yet due to my new. Yep, that's right, I switched jobs and now work for drei75 web strategies, 

a small german agency which develops ideas and concepts for online features, campaigns etc. I'm really looking forward to doing some business these guys :) I also have to thank the folks @otto.de for giving me the chance to develop my knowledge!

Slightly different topic but much more interesting: The Barcamp Hamburg 2008 is opening it's gates on Nov. 21/22 @ OTTO HQ in Hamburg. It's gonna be great. I think it's one of the few Barcamps in Germany at a big company HQ.

Beflügelt wird die rasante Entwicklung der Internet-Verbreitung in Deutschland durch die steigende Nachfrage nach multimedialen Anwendungen im Netz: 55 Prozent (2007: 45 Prozent) aller Onliner rufen Videos, zum Beispiel über Videoportale oder Mediatheken, ab und schauen live oder zeitversetzt Fernsehsendungen im Internet. Audiofiles wie Musikdateien, Podcasts und Radiosendungen im Netz werden von 35 Prozent (2007: 37 Prozent) genutzt. Das steigende Interesse an Videos im Netz spiegelt sich in der Verbindungstechnik der Anwender wider: Mittlerweile verfügen 70 Prozent der Onlinenutzer über einen DSL/Breitband-Anschluss (2007: 59 Prozent), der den komfortablen Abruf datenintensiver Angebote ermöglicht.

Ideas to improve the world

There's lots of community work happening again these days.

NY Times recently launched their community (about) which is actually nicely done. Besides rss they have a FB app ready and they idea behind & the design of the community seems appropriate for a news site (very slim, keeping the content in focus).

Google launched a new project to generate ideas from the web community with the goal to improve the world: http://www.project10tothe100.com
I mean Google always wants to improve the world and gives the web community lots 'o neet tools without ulterior motives but this is a big one. They're giving out 10 mio. $ for those ideas.
